Please read these terms carefully before using Metro LuxRide's luxury transportation services.

Welcome to Metro LuxRide. These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of our luxury ground transportation services. By booking or using our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1 Service Description

Metro LuxRide provides luxury black-car transportation services including airport transfers, executive city rides, hourly charter service, and corporate transportation throughout the Detroit Metro area and State of Michigan.

All services are provided with professional drivers and premium vehicles. We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone at our sole discretion.

2 Booking and Reservations

2.1 Reservation Process: Reservations can be made online through our website, by phone, or by email. All bookings are subject to vehicle and driver availability.

2.2 Booking Confirmation: A booking is confirmed only when you receive written confirmation from Metro LuxRide via email or text message.

2.3 Accuracy of Information: You are responsible for providing accurate pickup/dropoff addresses, contact information, and flight details. Metro LuxRide is not liable for delays or missed pickups due to incorrect information provided by the customer.

2.4 Advanced Booking: We recommend booking at least 24 hours in advance, especially for airport transfers. While we accommodate same-day bookings when possible, advance reservations ensure availability.

3 Pricing and Payment

3.1 Pricing Structure: Our pricing is based on vehicle type and distance traveled. Current rates are: Luxury Sedan minimum $45 + $2.75/mile + $0.50/min, Black SUV minimum $150, plus distance charges: 0-25 miles ($5/mile), 25-45 miles ($4/mile), 45+ miles ($3.50/mile).

3.2 Additional Charges: Wait time beyond complimentary periods is charged at $1 per minute. Parking fees, tolls, and other third-party charges will be added to the final invoice.

3.3 Gratuity: Gratuity is not included in quoted rates. While discretionary, a standard gratuity of 15-20% is customary for excellent service.

3.4 Payment Methods: We accept major credit cards, debit cards, and corporate accounts. Payment is due at the time of booking or as agreed for corporate accounts.

3.5 Price Changes: Quoted prices are valid for 24 hours. Metro LuxRide reserves the right to adjust pricing without notice for future bookings.

4 Cancellation and Refund Policy

4.1 Cancellation by Customer: Cancellations made 24+ hours before scheduled pickup receive a full refund. Cancellations within 24 hours of pickup may be subject to a cancellation fee of up to 50% of the booking amount.

4.2 No-Show Policy: Customers who fail to appear for their scheduled pickup without prior cancellation will be charged 100% of the booking amount.

4.3 Modifications: Trip modifications (date, time, pickup/dropoff locations) should be made as early as possible. Changes within 24 hours of pickup are subject to availability and may incur additional charges.

4.4 Cancellation by Metro LuxRide: In rare circumstances, we may need to cancel a booking due to unforeseen events (vehicle breakdown, driver illness, severe weather). In such cases, we will provide a full refund or arrange alternative transportation.

5 Passenger Responsibilities

5.1 Conduct: Passengers must conduct themselves in a respectful manner. Abusive, threatening, or inappropriate behavior toward drivers or damage to vehicles may result in immediate termination of service without refund.

5.2 Prohibited Items: Smoking, vaping, illegal drugs, and weapons are strictly prohibited in all vehicles. Alcohol consumption is permitted only in accordance with Michigan law for passengers in the back of the vehicle.

5.3 Vehicle Capacity: Passengers must not exceed the stated capacity of the vehicle. Additional passengers beyond the booked capacity may be refused service.

5.4 Child Safety Seats: Complimentary child safety seats are provided upon request. Passengers are responsible for ensuring proper use and fit for their child.

5.5 Lost Items: Metro LuxRide is not responsible for lost, stolen, or forgotten personal belongings. We will make reasonable efforts to return found items.

6 Liability and Insurance

6.1 Insurance Coverage: All Metro LuxRide vehicles carry comprehensive commercial liability insurance as required by Michigan law.

6.2 Limitation of Liability: Metro LuxRide's liability is limited to direct damages only and shall not exceed the total amount paid for the specific service. We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or incidental damages including missed flights, meetings, or events.

6.3 Force Majeure: Metro LuxRide is not liable for delays or cancellations caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control including severe weather, traffic accidents, road closures, or natural disasters.

6.4 Vehicle Damage: Passengers are liable for any damage to the vehicle interior caused by their actions or negligence. Cleaning fees may be charged for excessive soiling, spills, or vomiting.

7 Privacy and Data Protection

7.1 Data Collection: We collect personal information including name, contact details, payment information, and travel itineraries to provide our services.

7.2 Data Use: Your information is used solely for booking management, service delivery, and customer communications. We do not sell or share your personal information with third parties except as necessary to provide services (e.g., payment processing).

7.3 Data Security: We implement reasonable security measures to protect your personal information. However, no electronic transmission is 100% secure.

8 Dispute Resolution

8.1 Complaints: If you have a complaint about our services, please contact us immediately at (313) 900-8886 or [email protected]. We will investigate and respond within 5 business days.

8.2 Governing Law: These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Michigan, United States. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Wayne County, Michigan.

8.3 Severability: If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.

9 Changes to Terms

Metro LuxRide reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be posted on our website with an updated "Last Updated" date. Continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.
